Our Story: The Promise That Moves You

At Vownd, that promise is the one you make to yourself.

It was a rainy morning in Manchester when our founder, Elena G., laced up her trainers for what felt like the hundredth time. She was tired of leggings that slipped, tops that chafed, and “fitness wear” that looked nothing like the strong, determined woman she saw in the mirror.

She asked herself: Why can't workout clothes keep the same promise I keep to my body?

That question became the seed of Vownd.

Where the Name Comes From

Vownd is a word we created – a fusion of two powerful ideas:

• "Vow" – a solemn promise. The commitment you make to show up, push harder, and never give up on yourself.

• "Wow" – the feeling of surprise and admiration. The spark you feel when you look in the mirror and love what you see.

Together, they form Vownd: a promise that wows.
